GP-22050 is a USB 2.0 high speed digital pattern generator, logic analyzer and bi-directional protocol (SPI/I²C) host adapter.
Not sure which product is right for your needs? GP-22050 is a ’swiss army knife’ for many essential tasks during embedded electronics system design. It allows going early on a prototype board and offers enhanced control and observability over a design from PC. It is delivered in standard with advanced capabilities for digital data processing: 1. Generate cycle-accurate arbitrary digital patterns with the ADWG mode of operation 2. Sample and inspect digital data with it Logic Analyzer mode of operation 3. Interface JTAG ports Extending its functionalities only requires purchasing the right license for an additional mode of operation: 1. Turn your GP-22050 into a 3- and 4-wires SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) host adapter and SPI Analyzer with the SPI mode of operation 2. Turn your GP-22050 into an I2C host bus adapter and I2C analyzer with the I2C mode of operation GP-22050 is designed to provide maximum flexibility and minimum constraint when testing and debugging at chip and board-level. It is a valuable compact tool, that will sit on your desk and spare you hours for cumbersome and repetitive test and debug tasks on your chip or board prototype. 1. USB-powered : No external power needed. 2. Connect it to your USB 2.0 port, start the application and toggle/sample your design digital lines within minutes. 3. Control GP-22050 from your own environment with the freely provided C/C++ DLL. 4. Automate tasks with simple TCL/tk scripts
1. Logic-level analysis from PC 2. DAC stimulation and control 3. Post-manufacturing ASIC / SoC manual bench functional testing 4. Chip / board prototype characterisation and validation 5. FPGA, digital board and DAC input stimulus generation for functional testing and debugging 6. IP validation on prototyping board 7. Generate digital stimulus to your board prototype from your VHDL/Verilog simulation 8. Custom digital interface access 9. SPI, I2C, and 3 wires serial interface access (requires additional license(s)).
1. GP-22050 device 2. USB cable mini-B to USB type A (2m) 3. Set of colored flying lead wires 4. License for ADWG, Analyser and JTAG modes of operation in 8PI Control Panel software |
